September, Countdown 25 days...

Hello ALL,
Sorry its been so long without any news. We have been so busy lately and I forgot to update our blog. Well Ty had his birthday and we went to Flagstaff for a night to relax and get away. It was a blast. We went on an astronomy walk with the lead scientist from the Lowell Observatory and learned all sorts of things about the stars and planets. We also made a short detour to Williams to see Bearizona, a drive through park with animals that come up to your car. Very cool to see bears and bison that close. Caleb is doing okay in school. He has allot to adjust to this year and everyday he is getting better. Tyler and I are getting the last few things together for the wedding. As it gets closer I seem to be relaxing and just anxious to be a Hawkins. I am so excited to see everyone and can't wait to party.

Well it's the middle of July and wedding plans are in full swing. It looks like we will be getting married at Watson Lake and having the reception at Stoneridge Country Club. I am going to finalize all the plans then let mom know so she can send out invitations. They are only about a 15 min drive from one another so that sould't cause any issues. Ty and I are doing great. Caleb is in Texas with his mother and won't be back till the 29th. Then Ty's birthday and back to school. Caleb will be going into the 4th grade this year. WE MISS YOU MONKEY! Can't wait for you to come home!
Anyhow, I ordered my dress from David's Bridal and will be making at least two more trips to Phoenix for allterations. Man it is so hot down there. Jenny you are insane. LOL
Well I can't wait to see you all in October. Its going to be hectic, stressful, and tottaly fun. I still can't belive I am getting MARRIED! I am going to have a wonderful husband, and an amazing son. What more could a girl ask for?

June 2010

Well it is definitely summer, things are really heating up around here. We finally were able to get back out to Kel and Wade's to see Kamryn and have dinner. What an amazing little girl! She has gotten so big and is turnning into a little person. We had a great time and want to get together more often. Caleb's baseball season is coming to an end and what great season. Its really good to see a group of kids work so well together and be so supportive of one another. No matter if they win or loose the sportsmanship they demonstrate each game is well beyond their years. Ty and I are beyond proud. Speaking of Ty he is still working at Ace Hardware and doing very well for himself. I am very lucky to have such a hardworking man to rely on. I am still working at the Senior Living Community, and trust me when I say WORK. Don't get me wrong I enjoy it I just wish I could do more to help those who need it. I want more now than ever to become a nurse and work with infants. That would be my dream job. Well for the most part we are all doing well. It is hard to spend quality time together with us both working and then Caleb going to his mom's house. We try to make the most of everything we do, but we can only do so much. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their summer....

Mother's Day

Hope you have a great day and get plenty of time to spend with your little monkeys (Caleb) and the bigger ones too (Ty). Wishing you all well and hoping everyone is as happy as we are here. Work is going good. I'm still getting use to the night shift and trying to sleep during the day, although I might add that sheets over the windows really do help trick the brain into thinking that its night...
Caleb is doing well in baseball. He got a great hit the other night and got to second base then stole his way home! Aparently he has started another growth spert cause he is eatting like Ty. My whole paycheck seems to be going to food and new clothes. The kid is going to be tall, he has also started putting on weight. His legs have almost doubled in size... He's going to be taller than me in no time!

TLC Update-April

Well time is just flying by here. I am getting into the groove with my new work schedule (10pm-6am) and really starting to enjoy my new job. Ty is still working as a manager at a hardware store and loving it. Caleb's school year is coming to an end and he is growing like a weed. The kid will be taller then me in no time! He is still in baseball and working on his batting. They are currently 2-1 and have another game Tuesday night. I can't wait to go and record it on my new camcorder. We are slowly working on the wedding and haven't really made anymore big decisions on anything. I still have not really looked for a dress or have any idea what we will wear. I think it is going to turn out to be a mad dash in the end... O well thats how things seem to work out here. One thing I wish is that I had more girly family here to help me find a dress. I am lost when it comes to gown shopping and there are not many choices in the booming town of Prescott. Well I hope everyone is doing well and life is moving along without any major hicups. O yes, I am not sure who all would like to come to the wedding but if you could let me know soon that may help to get us motivated to plan. You are all welcome to come and I hope to see you soon! Well I need to try and sleep alittle more before I go in tonight.

Caleb's Baseball Game

I can't belive it, two games two wins!! The team they played came out and got 5 runs the first at bat... thought it was all over. The boys came back at the end and won by ONE RUN!
